I’m a New Zealander with a weakness for a local market, crumbling architecture, and conversations that go nowhere in particular. Having travelled to around 30 countries, and lived in New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and the UK, I love a local find and the discovery of a hidden gem.

Slow+Behold is where I share the places that have stayed with me, and the ones worth staying a little longer in - the ones to behold.

Slow+Behold has been created as a creative outlet for what I love.

I want to share my stories and photography of places, and make authentic recommendations on where to go and what to do. For transparency, this publication contains ads and affiliate links that can generate money if clicked on. But I only suggest and link to places I have tried and tested, or that are occasionally highly recommended by trusted, personal sources.

I write all content myself, no AI, and as such, apologies for the odd error or two… I am only human after all.
